Wildlife Photography: Herons and Hawks

Birds, so far. A great blue heron lifts off through a spring woodland with its wings fully open. Another rests high in a tree that's just coming into leaf, easy to miss among the branches. A red-tailed hawk passes overhead against a pale sky, its barred wings and pale tail spread wide.

Wildlife is mostly waiting, and most frames don't make it. This set is small for now and will grow as I work through the archive.
