Technical SEO Audits

Know what's holding your site back in search, and what to fix first.

Overview

Pages that won't index. Rankings that slipped after a release. A sitemap full of URLs that shouldn't be there. Technical problems usually stay invisible until traffic drops, and automated audit tools bury the few issues that matter under a wall of warnings.

I crawl the site, compare it with what Google actually indexes, and review structure, speed, sitemaps and schema. Then I sort every finding by impact and effort, so your developers get a short, ordered list instead of a spreadsheet of noise. Each fix comes with the evidence behind it and a clear definition of done.

Who it's for

For any site where something technical is getting in the way of search.

  • Search Console shows more and more pages as crawled or discovered but not indexed.
  • Traffic dropped after a redesign, a release or a CMS change, and nobody can say why.
  • Your pages are slow on mobile and failing Core Web Vitals.
  • Your sitemap, canonicals and internal links disagree about which pages matter.
  • You're about to invest in content and want the foundations checked first.
What you get
  • A full crawl covering status codes, redirects, canonicals and internal links
  • An indexing review against your Google Search Console data
  • A sitemap and robots.txt audit
  • A page speed and Core Web Vitals review of your key templates
  • A schema audit of the structured data on each page type
  • A prioritized fix list ranked by impact and effort, with evidence for each item
  • A walkthrough of the findings with your team
How it works
  1. Scope. We agree which domains, sections and templates are in scope, and you give me read access to Search Console and analytics.
  2. Crawl and check. I crawl the site, compare it with what Google indexes, and test speed, structure and schema on the templates that matter.
  3. Prioritize. Every finding is ranked by impact and effort, with the evidence and the fix written for whoever will make it.
  4. Hand over. I walk your team through the list, so your developers know what to fix first and why.

FAQ

Common questions

What does a technical SEO audit cost?

It's a fixed price, agreed before I start. The price depends on the size of the site, the number of templates, and whether there's more than one domain or language to cover. A marketing site with a handful of templates is a smaller job than a large CMS with faceted navigation. Tell me about the site on a call and I'll send a quote with the scope written out.

Do you fix the issues, or only find them?

The audit is the diagnosis. The fix list is written so your own developers can work through it, with the evidence and the expected result for each item. If you don't have developer time and your site runs on Webflow or WordPress, I can implement the fixes as a separate piece of work. On other platforms, I work alongside your developers.

How is this different from an automated SEO audit tool?

Tools are good at finding symptoms. They'll flag a missing alt attribute with the same urgency as a noindex tag on your pricing page. I use crawlers too, but the value is in the judgment: which issues affect the pages that bring in revenue, which are cosmetic, and what order to fix them in. You get a short, ranked list, not a raw export.

Not sure where to start?

Tell me what you're trying to fix. I'll tell you which service fits, or whether you need one at all.
