Schema Markup & Entity SEO

Make every page on your site easy for search engines and AI to understand.

Overview

Search engines and AI assistants both try to work out what a page is about and who's behind it. Structured data answers that directly. Many sites have some schema, usually added by a plugin or theme, but it's often inconsistent and rarely connected into a clear picture of the company, its people and its products.

I work from your sitemap. I classify every page by type, then generate JSON-LD for each one, from Organization and Service to Article, FAQPage and LocalBusiness. The markup is linked with consistent IDs and sameAs references, so your brand reads as one entity everywhere it appears.

Who it's for

For any site that needs to be machine-readable, from SaaS companies to local businesses.

  • Your schema came from a plugin, and nobody has checked what it actually outputs.
  • Search Console shows structured data errors or warnings that haven't been fixed.
  • Google shows the wrong logo or the wrong details for your brand, or no knowledge panel at all.
  • Your company, founders or products are described differently across your site and profiles.
  • You're launching a new site and want schema designed into every template from the start.
What you get
  • A schema audit of every page type: what exists, what's broken and what's missing
  • A page-type map of your site, built from your sitemap
  • JSON-LD for every page, written per page type and validated
  • Organization and Person entities connected with consistent @id and sameAs links
  • An entity consistency check across your site and your main external profiles
  • Implementation in Webflow or WordPress, or clear instructions for your developers
How it works
  1. Map. I parse your sitemap and group every URL by page type, so each template gets the right schema.
  2. Audit. I check the structured data already on each page type, and how your entity details appear across the web.
  3. Generate. I write JSON-LD for each page type, connect it with consistent IDs, and validate it.
  4. Implement and verify. The markup goes into your CMS templates, and I check it on the live pages once it's published.

FAQ

Common questions

Does schema markup improve rankings?

Not directly. Schema won't push a page up the results on its own. What it does is remove ambiguity: it tells search engines and AI systems what a page is, who published it and how it connects to everything else. That can make pages eligible for rich results, and it gives AI search cleaner facts to work with. It's foundation work that pays off alongside good content.

How is a schema project priced?

As a project, quoted after I've seen your sitemap. The number of distinct page types matters more than the number of pages, because schema is written per template and then applies to every page of that type. If you want me to implement it as well as write it, that's included in the quote, so you know the full cost before we start.

How is this different from the schema a plugin adds?

Plugins add generic schema based on a few settings. They rarely know that one page is a service, another is a case study and a third is a product, and they don't connect your brand's entities to each other. I write schema per page type, with consistent IDs and sameAs links, then check what actually renders on the live page.
