The brief
P.S. Bakery is a home-based bakery in Collingwood. It makes scratch-baked custom cakes, wedding cakes and dessert tables, and runs a mobile dessert bar for events across Southern Georgian Bay. The Webflow site read well and had real reviews, but my June 2026 audit found no city or region named anywhere on it.
What I did
- Drafted new homepage copy in April 2026. The hero and services lines are on the live site.
- Audited all 11 pages in June 2026 and wrote a prioritized fix list.
- Wrote Bakery schema with ratings, reviews, hours and nine service areas, plus ContactPage and FAQPage schema for the contact page.
- Rewrote the generic title tags and duplicated meta descriptions, and named Collingwood and the nearby towns on every page.
- Fixed the misspelled 'Desert Cart' page with a new URL and a 301 redirect.
- Wrote a privacy policy under Canada's PIPEDA to replace a dead footer link.
Where it stands
Live. The fixes went in the same day as the audit, and a re-audit confirmed them. Collingwood and the towns it serves now appear across the site.
