The brief
V.I.L. Landscaping designs, builds and maintains landscapes across Oakville, Burlington, Mississauga and Milton, and runs commercial snow removal. The site was set up well for design-build and hardscaping searches. It did not appear in the top 10 for 'lawn care Oakville' or 'property maintenance Oakville'.
What I did
- Ran a keyword analysis on lawn care and property maintenance searches in March 2026.
- Audited the business's listings on more than 60 platforms and flagged outdated addresses, wrong postal codes and missing directory listings.
- Flagged service pages that had copied the retaining wall page's text by mistake, and wrote replacement copy for each.
- Audited AI-search readiness, schema, the 110-URL sitemap and page performance in April 2026.
- Wrote posts for the blog's local comparison series, such as 'Best Property Maintenance Companies in Oakville'.
- Track its map-pack rankings with my own geo-grid scanner.
Where it stands
Live. The April 2026 audits set the fix list: an Oakville service-area page, schema on the blog and service pages, and next-generation image formats.
